Raised between the harbour and the hills, I spent my early years in Paremata before the family shifted to Whitby when I was nine.

 

My schooling started at Papakōwhai Kindergarten and Paremata School, followed by a high school days at Aotea College and later heading through to Victoria University.

Taking time away from New Zealand to travel, including a chapter living in Australia. In the end, though, home called me back to Porirua, with one Aussie import husband coming along for the ride.

 

These days, life is centred around raising our four kids while staying closely connected to the communities and coastline that have always felt like home.
